Terms of Service
Last updated June 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of IndieReply, a Chrome extension and web app that drafts reply suggestions for X, LinkedIn, and Reddit. By creating an account or using IndieReply, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
IndieReply generates up to three reply drafts in your own voice. It inserts text into the native composer when you choose to. It never posts, likes, or sends anything on your behalf. You decide what to publish.
Your account
You sign in with X, Google, or Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. One account is meant for one person.
Trial and billing
New accounts start a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to begin the trial, and nothing is charged until the trial ends.
After the trial, IndieReply costs $9 per month for early users, locked in for as long as your subscription stays active. Billing runs through Stripe and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancel during the trial and you are never charged. Cancel later and you keep access until the end of the current period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months unless the law requires it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use IndieReply to:
- send spam, harassment, or unlawful content;
- impersonate others or mislead people;
- break the terms of X, LinkedIn, Reddit, or any platform where you use it;
- reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the service or its API;
- overload or interfere with our systems.
Your content and AI output
You keep ownership of the text you write and the drafts you choose to use. You are responsible for what you post. Reply suggestions are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, off tone, or unsuitable, so review every draft before you publish it.
Intellectual property
IndieReply, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to the operator. These terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or code beyond using the service as intended.
Third-party platforms
X, LinkedIn, and Reddit are independent services and are not affiliated with IndieReply. They can change without notice, which may affect how IndieReply works. We are not responsible for those platforms.
Disclaimers
IndieReply is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for IndieReply in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using IndieReply and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or use the service in a way that harms others or us.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we make material changes, we update the date above. Continuing to use IndieReply afterward means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Courts located in France have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
